Parameters and constraints.
Your contribution to this team will include collaborating with engineers, technical colleagues and clients to verify and seal structural steel and concrete engineered designs. EGBC professional registration is mandatory for the position. Unique among consultants, this position provides the opportunity for field work to scope projects, take field measurements including 3D scanning, and see your solution in operation.
Individuals with 5+ years’ experience and immediate EGBC registration with the ability to seal designs and reports, as well as the following skills, will be strong candidates for the position:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Strong understanding of technical engineering analysis with a focus on structural steel or concrete for heavy industry
• Detailed-oriented approach to drawing checks and reviews to address fabrication and constructability
• Commitment to growth through the ability to accept feedback and learn processes that contribute to I/O Design’s success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to compose correspondence and written materials
• Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products and CAD software
• High level of organizational skill with the ability to engage with multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong work ethic and team spirit with the flexibility to work in a small company and accept a wide range of responsibilities

Starting salary will be between $75,000 and $110,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
